Nature-Based Play for Kids in Azusa

Local Azusa parents and caregivers can bring their kids out for a safe, outdoor, and nature-based playgroup. The ratio allowed is five students per teacher, and groups are limited. During their time together, the students get encouraged to participate in outdoor activities that develop socializing, emotional well-being, and cooperative learning. Children 6 years old and older are welcome to be a part of this fun event. This learning group asks parents not to bring children if their child has a fever or signs of illness. The parents drop off, and at the time of acceptance, the teachers will make visual wellness checks for each participant before the event's kick-off to ensure all have a safe and fun time. Along with the other fun planned, the teachers will go over COVID protocols for staying safe and keeping other students safe through good hygiene and sneezing protocols.
