No Job Too Big: How SERVPRO Azusa/Covina Handled a Massive Commercial Water Loss

When disaster strikes, time is of the essence- especially for businesses that cannot afford downtime. Recently, our SERVPRO Azusa/Covina team responded to a large commercial water loss in the city of Covina on a rainy Sunday. A storm caused part of their roof to collapse, leading to extensive water damage throughout the property.
Despite the challenging conditions- no power, cold temperature, and standing water - our team sprang into action immediately. With all hands-on deck, we manually remove water from the warehouse until power was restored, allowing us to deploy our industrial equipment for water extraction and structural drying.
This was a large-scale project requiring countless hours of effort, but thanks to our swift response and efficient cleanup, the business was able to remain open throughout the entire process. Minimizing disruption was our top priority, and by working closely with the owner and their insurance company, we ensured a smooth restoration process.
Through it all, this business proved to be incredibly resilient and even found a way to bring humor to the situation. They even put on a "Flash Flood Sale" on the one-month anniversary of their water loss. Kudos to them for taking things in stride, embracing the challenge with humor, and working step-by-step with us the entire way!
We understand that every minute counts when it comes to commercial losses. That is why we're always ready-24/7- to help businesses get back on their feet as quickly as possible!
