Storm Problems to a Home in Covina
The high winds dropped a tree limb on the roof of this house in West Covina. The impact opened up a large hole in the ceiling, and blown insulation drifted down like snow onto the below floor. The problem was compounded by a significant amount of rodent fecal pellets within the insulation. This biohazardous condition required our technicians to don HAZMAT gear and safely bag and remove all the debris. These plastic bags were dropped off at a designated site as required by regulations. We placed tarps over the openings in the roof to keep out any vermin or inclement weather. The owner contracted an outside company to do this major roof repair, and we were tasked with the cleanup and disinfecting the damaged areas of the house.
