Mold Damage – Azusa Home

Mold damage struck the kitchen of this Azusa home when the sink base cabinet had been leaking water from the drain trap. Eventually, the combination of moisture and darkness led to a mold colony developing. When confronted with this type of mold infestation our highly trained SERVPRO of Azusa / Covina technicians would plan to replace the underlay along with the kick plate. They would need to scrub off several areas before applying an antifungal product to kill the infestation and to inhibit any future mold growth. Naturally, the drain trap would be replaced to remove the source of moisture. New tile would then be put up to replace the kick plate.
